Groups of volunteers across the country are working to achieve 100% plant-based transitions in their local councils. We are supporting groups to use a broad range of strategies to engage their local council in discussion on the contribution of food to the climate and ecological crises . This includes petitions, demonstrations, engaging with local press, and hosting fun community events. Whilst we are engaging in local democracy, the discussion will inevitably spill out from the council chamber and into the wider community, getting people talking about the need for a plant-based food system.
